I have no expertise in Sindarin, only Quenya. As you said “Elvish” in your original post (elvish is not a language, it’s an adjective) I assumed you were talking about Quenya, which is the language I deal all the time.
THAT was the problem. If you are right about your Sindarin rendition…well I don’t know…I just cannot understand how you seem to know about the languages and yet still call them “Elvish” like lay people do.
It’s puzzling!
